Quality is pride of workmanship

W. Edwards Deming

Choosing the right materials and hardware for our garments is paramount in achieving high quality. We believe that by picking the market leading components from zips to thread we will produce a better garment in the long run. This has allowed us to understand every detail of our product and we are confident that Ferox is the pinnacle of technical wear

Porelle Membrane®

Porelle Extreme is a breathable membrane designed and engineered by scientists who understand how the body functions. Porelle Extreme gives you the confidence in protection to complete any challenge safely. Amongst the many benefits of Porelle Extreme membranes is its ability to work with the body, allowing sweat to continually breathe through the lightweight membrane and evaporate, whilst maintaining warmth, comfort and protection from heavy rain and wind

DuraFil® Fabric

Using DuraFil on parts of our garments has allowed increased durability where you need it the most. Through testing and market research we found time and time again the arms of most jackets were the first to fail. By using an abrasion resistant material to reinforce and protect we can increase the lifespan of our garments and help reduce the wear and tear that occur as we use our clothing in arduous environments

YKK Zippers

Often weak points in outerwear can be found at the zips due to poor quality, for this reason we use YKK Aquaguard and YKK Aquaguard Vislon water repellent zippers, the two top performing zips currently available on the market

Recco Reflectors®

Hidden Recco Reflectors installed in the brim of the hood. A lightweight passive beacon consisting of diode and transponder that make you searchable by rescue teams when the user is in distress situations

Triple Stitched
Velcro Cuffs

YKK fully adjustable Velcro Hypalon cuffs with triple stitching allows for increased durability and a lifespan longer than traditional cuffs

Twill Weave Nylon

Twill Weave Nylon allows for a stronger, more wrinkle resistant and harder to stain/mark outer fabric than traditional plain weaves used by most other brands. Twill weave also has a softer feel and reduced noise under motion

Durability

Using 70 Denier Nylon fabric and 350 Denier reinforcement panels in our garments allows for increased resistance to general abrasion and specific contact with the lower arms

DWR Treated Fabric

All Ferox outer fabrics are treated with DWR coating. DWR encourages water beading, preventing wear and tear of the membrane as well as the build up of dirt in the fabric. This increases the overall performance of our garments

Cohaesive Components®

Invisible cord-lock technology made by Cohaesive allows for easy one-handed adjustments to garments, even when wearing gloves. Cohaesive Components are more secure and stronger than traditional plastics
